Open source by the makers of EmailEngine

The email code inside software you already use

Cloudflare, Resend, Elastic, Mozilla and n8n ship Nodemailer, postal-mime and ImapFlow in their own products. EmailEngine is built on the same libraries, by the same developer.

100 Projects listed, each linked to its source

Where you will find them

A dozen of the products that list our libraries as a dependency.

Every project, by library

Pick a library to see who depends on it. Each name opens the file that lists it.

ImapFlow

A modern IMAP client for Node.js, with a promise-based API and IDLE support.

Inside EmailEngine

mailauth

Email authentication for Node.js: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, ARC and BIMI.

In the public sector, too

Standards bodies, research centres and government digital services.

How this list was made

  • Checked in the source. Every entry was confirmed in the project's own package.json on its default branch in October 2026, and each name links to that file.
  • Runtime dependencies only. A library used only in a project's tests or build tooling is not counted. Miniflare is the one exception: it lists postal-mime for its build and ships it bundled inside its own code.
  • Public code only. Most software is private, so this is a small sample of where the libraries run, not a census.
  • No endorsement implied. Company and product names are trademarks of their owners and appear only to say where the code is used. To correct or remove an entry, email info@emailengine.app.

The same libraries, assembled into an email API

EmailEngine runs ImapFlow, Nodemailer and Mailparser behind one REST API and webhooks for Gmail, Microsoft 365 and IMAP accounts, on your own servers.
